Another solution I found was to download and install the latest drivers manually, but I didn't do that yet since I thought the correct drivers should be part of the latest kernel already. I also tried to disable 11n following this post, with no luck. I already tried to uninstall the gnome-bluetooth application in favour of the bluez stack and the other way round, as I read that both packages could conflict, but no success.

Everything seemed to be detected fine, only it won’t find any wireless networks, nor any bluetooth devices.

Now I added a new PCIE Intel advanced-n 6235 wifi/bluetooth combo adapter. I have an Intel NUC with Ubuntu 13.10 installed. I searched the Internet for my problem but did not find exactly the problem I’m facing.
